OUR STORY

A music academy built around people, not programs.

Jubilate Music Academy was created to bring thoughtful, vetted music instruction to families across Lexington County, South Carolina.

The name "Jubilate" is Latin for "rejoice," and it reflects what we believe music should be at every stage of learning: a source of discipline, expression, and joy.

We're building a team of experienced instructors across piano, voice, guitar, strings, and beyond, all teaching under one name with shared standards and shared support.

Jubilate is part of the Salamon's Inc. family of businesses, which handles the operations and the business side so our instructors can do what they do best: teach.

Today we teach at three locations, in Gaston, Lexington, and Leesville. It's a deliberate footprint that puts thoughtful music instruction within reach of families throughout the county.

LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Paul Raddin

Lead Instructor and Community Ambassador

  • M.A. in Church Music, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
  • B.A. in Music, McNeese State University

Paul brings more than five decades of music instruction and ministry to Jubilate Music Academy. He serves as Lead Pastor at Beulah Methodist Church in Gaston, South Carolina, and previously served as a music educator at Frances Mack Intermediate School.

Teaching private piano since 1974, Paul blends a classical foundation with the warmth and patience of a lifelong educator. His students range from young children sounding out their first scales to adults returning to the keyboard after decades away.

He believes that careful instruction, consistent practice, and genuine encouragement are the three quiet keys to a lifelong love of music.

OUR APPROACH

Classical foundations, personalized pacing.

Every student receives a curriculum shaped to their age, level, and goals. We don't rush students through milestones, and we don't water down the music. Whether you're aiming for recitals, sacred music, or simply the joy of playing well, we'll meet you where you are.

OUR TEAM

Built around experienced professionals.

Every Jubilate instructor is hand-selected by Paul through an audition and trial lesson. We don't require a specific degree. We require real musicianship, real teaching experience, and a shared commitment to our standards.

OUR MISSION

Skilled musicians. Lifelong lovers of music.

To provide thoughtful, vetted music instruction that builds skilled musicians and lifelong lovers of music, rooted in the communities we serve.
